Master of Ceremonies

This is Jay’s fifth year as “The Voice” of your Decatur Municipal Band and he feels just as excited about the new season as he has each one before it! 

When not vocalizing for the band, Jay serves as VP of Creative & Cheer for Children’s Museum of Illinois, where he uses his entire toolbox of talents to keep things fun for families.

Jay has worked in and around the Arts & Entertainment industry his entire adult life and has had the good fortune to work with some amazing individuals and organizations both locally and nationally on a variety of creative projects. He played trumpet and horn throughout his school years. He loves playing games and sharing a good laugh. He has yet to run away from a bad pun.
